Now, Outlook no longer sees my connection as “metered”. That is pretty funny, since I’m still using a USB device to connect to the same cell tower signal as before, and my data plan remains unchanged. No jargon. Pictures helped. Didn’t match my screen. Metered connections in Windows – Microsoft Support

 

Built a Win10 image with “Office Pro Plus”, lffice the windows 10 specs free is laid down on a new PC I open office and instead of it auto-discovering my exchange email account it presents me with the offjce account of “Outlook Data File” example below.

When I go to “File” it shows 2 messages listed below “Metered Connection Warning” and “Upgrade in Progress” pic below If I leave this, it will usually update after 2 days and then when a new user logs in it will auto-discover the exchange email. Here is the details, and what troubleshooting steps I have done fdee far. Tried the reg fix listed heredidn’t work couldn’t manually apply the updates listed in the link, because we are using. The metered connection warning is keeping the auto discovery from setting up email properly. I am on a wired connection so I need a way that will allow me to turn this feature off then allow me to sysprep and not reset upon deploying the image.
